I began my career as an engineer and later transitioned into the field of education. While seeking career growth opportunities in this field, I started exploring higher education programs and institutions. Based on recommendations from my colleagues, I chose to enroll in the Doctorate Degree Program at Asian College of Teachers. As a working professional, I found the online program extremely convenient and well-structured. The weekend webinars made it easy to balance my studies with my professional commitments. The flexibility and support provided by my guide, along with the prompt responses to my queries, played a significant role in helping me successfully complete the program. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Asian College of Teachers for offering such an excellent online program designed for working professionals. My PhD journey was an enriching experience. My research focused on the effectiveness of multisensory instructional techniques in improving spelling skills among children with learning difficulties. Through the study, I gained valuable experience in educational research, assessment, intervention planning, data collection, and analysis. Working directly with children helped me bridge theory and practice, and it strengthened my commitment to evidence-based interventions in special and inclusive education. Completing my thesis defence has further motivated me to continue my research and contribute to the field through leadership, assessment, and educational innovation.

This course helped me enhance my knowledge of educational leadership, school improvement, reflective practice, and the role of leaders in creating a positive learning culture. It enabled me to effectively integrate theory with practice in my own school setting. Through the modules, assignments, and reflective tasks, I was able to critically analyse my professional practice and leadership approach. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to my coordinator, who provided excellent guidance and support throughout my Capstone Project and patiently addressed my many queries. One of the most valuable aspects of the course was the detailed evaluation and constructive feedback provided for each assignment. The feedback helped me identify areas for improvement and continuously enhance the quality of my work, which I truly appreciate.
