Overall, I had a very positive experience with the course. I particularly appreciated how supportive the staff and academic team were throughout the research process. Completing the Professional Doctorate in Education through ACT, tied to my EIU study, was one of the most demanding but rewarding stretches of my career. Balancing full-time teaching with doctoral research meant long evenings and weekends, but the structure pushed me to turn everyday classroom questions — like how trilingual immersion actually works for students — into a properly researched, mixed-methods study. The supervision was practical rather than abstract, which suited me; I wanted a program that connected to real school contexts, not just theory.

Overall the course is good. I definetely gained something new. Assignments are designed nicely. Reading material is also useful. Though I wish to receive more specific knowledge regarding teaching. Especially during webinars, I find them quite surfacial and lacking information which can be implemented. Many things from the course are familiar to me because I am intensively teaching for around 10 years, and know a lot from my own experience. Also communication between students and university could happen faster.
