I have been teaching English for 12 years but this course provided me with a real structure for the first time and i have learnt a great deal from this course. While doing the BETT1 & 2 I had the opportunity of using the course components in my office. I was able to suuccessful conduct the training to the new joinies at my office. The questioniers and syllabus that I learnt was useful, it setting up the modules for them. I am happy that I could do this course online. It will further facilitate my eligibility for job opportunities in the future. I learned the difference between communicative English and the traditional method of teaching. I also learned that I must not emphasise in accuracy.to
I expected to learn more activities to introduce different grammar topics and to train in corporates. Being an English teacher and having attended refresher couses and done B.Ed we know most of these methodologies.

I took about a year to decide if taking this course would be good for me since I am not from Education/Teaching Background. I come from the rural development sector where I train and facilitate various kinds of individuals and groups on topics and issues that is relevant to my sector. It was after much thinking that I realised since I am a Facilitator/ Trainer, this course could strengthen my skills and knowledge on how to be a better facilitator/trainer in my own field as well. So I finally took up this course and I am grateful I did.
A lot of the topics I learnt from this course is what I am currently applying in my training modules and sessions. This course most importantly strengthened my knowledge on methods and tools and also my skills on how to communicate or deal with classroom situation and with people from different cultural background. This course content beautifully supplements what I am currently doing in my field and I am really very happy that I took up this course. This was worth it.

I have no teaching experience, but doing TEFL/TESOL course is of great experience which will help me to know more about the students, and adults learner, I have a plan to teach English outside India, as I have seen friends outside who are very interested to speak in English but couldn’t speak with proper fluency, and a country like France, I have plenty of friends, who wants me to teach English to them, as they are not able to communicate properly with other people from other countries.
