My experience and journey of the course was lovely. The modules got me hooked onto it right from the beginning and I finished the course in 1 and a half months. The course content is well designed and the assignment questions were very thought-provoking. I look forward to using my knowledge with the various children I will encounter and make the process of learning enjoyable and fun. Having prior knowledge and Masters in Psychology helped me understand this course better and progress with more ease. I am a Behavior Therapist at Insighte Homecare for Children, Bangalore. Teaching to the students to give them knowledge about what makes them able to deal with outside of the home and school. Teaching to the learning disabilities kids is one of the difficult job but if any one of us couldn't try than non of our kids in my city get chance to understand what they are reading. Also they get one opportunities to overcome their weakness and afraid. I work in Kopila Valley School as a teacher.

I find myself overly joyed at the thought of having been able to learn so much about special education and what teachers or special educators can do to tackle it. I have always believed that knowledge is the most rewarding wealth and I find myself being a more confident teacher than what I was a year ago. Learning never ends. Each day comes up with a new chapter for me adding upto my previous experience. It was good, informative and helped me understand what is exactly happening in these disorders. I hope to work in this field so it was good to know these things. the Case studies were a help and also the way things were explained as to how the kid feels and what happens and how others misinterpret that. that was insightful as well. It was helpful to know how the disorder affects the kid in various ways and how once recognized and diagnosed can actually be dealt with and will hopefully not hamper the kids progress in any way. it can in fact be harnessed with skills and activities where it would be beneficial for the child.
