Overall experience was good. The course covered most of the aspects of special education. I got lot of ideas about the behavior pattern and how to over come them. Lots of myths got cleared. I am very confident now.

When I joined the school for special needs as a Dance Movement Therapy Practitioner, little did i know that i would be pushed into becoming their learning facilitator. Once i entered that arena, i realized that i had to train myself with skills and strategies to create a space and environment for their individualized learning needs. The learning that i gathered through this course is proving to be extremely beneficial in understanding the way the brains function for each child and how best their learning needs can be addressed.I gained a detailed understand of the way each child's challenges are and how they can be handled in the classroom environment. There were lot of areas of learning that i explored, which i loved. It was an humbling experience to know what goes on in the little brains of the innocent children and how helpless and overwhelming their moment to moment experiences can be. I am working as a Learning Facilitator (Teacher) in Aatman Academy, A school for special needs children, Based in Thane, Mumbai.India.

Overall, it was a good and enriching experience. The structure of the program encouraged me to engage with faculty members through which active participation extends learning. The diverse make-up of the program has challenged my thinking and enabled me to think more broadly about the practical application of the concepts being studied

My experience with Asian College of Teachers has been great. I had no problems with doing the course, I was given access to the new module on time, got my assignments checked in a timely manner and the coordinator was very sweet.

I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education. The best decision was to do the course online. It helped me to complete the course at my own pace without any worries. The modules of the course were very informative. I have enhanced my knowledge and confidence. This course showed me that there is not one way but many ways to teach All kinds of children in a single classroom. I intend to go forward with the knowledge that I have gained and help others. A nice refresher, especially in English. It is always good to refresh yourself so now and then as I did my previous course more than 10 years ago. I like to read and study about Autism, ADHD etc. because a lot of teachers don't realize that every homeroom has these kids in class. I really think this kind of courses are useful for all teachers, especially facing and or working with inclusive education. I am working in International school of Tianjin.
