I feel really good and awesome on completion of this course. I have been always guided right from from beginning of the course and never felt ambiguous. Especially had fun learning through content provided by ACT which was self explanatory. Special thanks to my coordinator Ms. Bidisha, who has been a wonderful guide and evaluator. Her inputs made me understand the content in a better way. I am glad that I have chosen ACT for pursing this course. I really appreciate the efforts you put to support the students in every aspect. Thank You.

Since last year May 2019, the entire year has been really fruitful and enriching. I have learnt a lot on how to notice the difficulties which the children are facing in their learning and reading process. Also, became aware of the causes, progressions and solutions to a variety of learning difficulties which as a teacher or even as a parent we fail to notice. The course content is well planned and organised.

“ Some see the disabilities, but a Special Education teacher, sees the possibilities. “ When it comes to teaching students with learning disabilities, a special educator faces a number of challenging tasks. For an effective teaching , we need to try a lot of new teaching methods. A good teacher works with more challenging students in order to become a better teacher. A balanced mix of apt strategies will enable teachers to deal with SEN students. Teachers are the most influential individuals in a child’s life. If a teacher assures to help the child to overcome the disorder, the child is very likely to believe that. Teachers are the cornerstone of children’s development. A solid teacher offers inspiration and encouragement so that students achieve success inside and outside the classroom. When it comes to children with special needs, teachers must possess characteristics that help them deal with physical and cognitive disorders.Teaching learning disabled youngsters will present something unique and distinctive challenges.

I realized how much there is to know about Special Education. Teaching strategies would definitely require creativity and ultimately, the passion to become an educator in this specific field should be overflowing. 100% commitment in completing this course was also very important, being half-hearted would have not let me achieve my goal in understanding what "special needs" is all about. I am very thankful for the assistance of ACT from start ( c/o Olivia) to finish (c/o Bidisha).

One of the best courses I have taken recently. Everything from the course material, videos to assignments is amazing and informative. It has helped me tremendously. I encourage every school teacher should take it who are studied as part of their curriculum. Overall, the course shared many pointer related to handling special children in the class room which were significant and research focused which is what makes it effective.
