Knowing about this amazing institution was truly a luck by chance,when I was surfing the net for Special education courses.I am working in a Special school & also am a mother of a special child.Teaching Special needs children is real challenging & I wanted to do some justice to the job,which I am doing currently.Doing this course,is now helping me immensely.Learning about Identification,symptoms & intervention strategies to support Special children,through this course & practically applying these has enhanced my teaching skills.Initially,it was a challenging job for me,but after doing the course..helped me gain confidence & am able to help my students in a much better way. The journey with ACT was really great. My mentor,Bidisha Ma'am, was very supportive. Specially grateful to my mentor for guiding me so well through the course.All the Assignments and the Research Module were interesting & have gained a lot of knowledge. A big THANKS to ACT and my mentor, for bringing a big change in my life.

The course material was really helpful and handy. It was highly informative. The case studies were so well customised . Bidisha mam was really quick in responding to my mails and evaluations.Her valuable feedback helped me to complete my assignments in a better way. Prachi mam was also highly helpful and supportive. After completing the course, I have become more self confident about my new career as a special educator.

I make a case study of my students and try to give individual attention and teach them through activities.I keep contacting parents often.See that the students put in efforts according to their ability. Feel happy when I see some students flourishing in their lives.

The course had immense information about ADHD and with case studies, it became easier to understand. The autism information was extensive too. It was very well researched. The case studies made it easy to follow. There was detailed information about Down's syndrome, LD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, LPD-language processing disorder. So many terms like concepts of inclusive education, IEP, IDEA, etc which earlier I had absolutely no idea about was made clear through this self-explanatory course material. I had no problem doing assignments too because the course material was complete and thorough.

A brilliant experience and now I know of how best I can support a child in the classroom with all the needful support needed. I could feel that I was not sufficient or my knowledge was not sufficient to support the child in the classroom with all the needed aids and support. I totally loved the way the coordinator supported me with all the assistance and motivation that I needed and was extremely fast to respond to mails and evaluated and gave me great feedback too.
