My experience with the Montessori Teacher Training course has been both enriching and eye-opening. It gave me a strong foundation in understanding child development and the Montessori philosophy, especially the importance of hands-on, child-led learning. I enjoyed the structured modules, the clarity in the lesson plan framework, and the flexibility to complete assignments at my own pace. One of the highlights was designing my own lesson using storytelling. I felt encouraged to apply what I learned creatively, and the feedback I received along the way helped me grow in confidence. Although the Teaching Practice could not be completed due to preschool restrictions, I appreciated the option to move forward with the micro-teaching assignment. Overall, the course has equipped me with not only knowledge but also a deeper appreciation for the role of the teacher as a guide. I now feel more prepared to engage young learners meaningfully and to design lessons that are both educational and enjoyable.

I have a degree in Secondary Education so learning Postgraduate Diploma in EYCE is very useful for me as I would really want to learn and develop more skills I could use in teaching. At first, I was thinking I could take a Postgraduate Diploma in SPED but while learning my course at ACT, I realised that I have made the right choice as I did learn so much about it. Maybe one day I could also learn about Special education.

I have been working as a teacher for the past 15 years, but I never had a formal teaching certificate. Completing this course with Asian College of Teachers has been a turning point in my professional journey, as it has greatly boosted my career and confidence. The support and guidance I received from my coordinator, Bidisha, were invaluable. When I was unsuccessful in my first attempt at the exam, she encouraged me not to give up and motivated me to keep going. Her patience and constant encouragement gave me the strength to persevere and succeed. I am truly grateful to ACT for providing such a well-structured program and for having such dedicated coordinators who walk with their students through every step.
