Asian College of Teachers (ACT) conducted a YouTube live session on ‘Integrating STEM into 21st Century Teaching’ on 27th March, 2023. The guest speaker at the session was Captain Shaji Sebastian, Founder & Mentor, International STEM Research, who explained the ways in which experts in the field of education are highlighting the importance of incorporating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education and 21st century learning skills in classrooms to prepare students for future work, which is expected to be highly automated.

Asian College of Teachers (ACT), the teacher training leader in Asia has successfully conducted the Cambridge TKT exam in 3 shifts at its Bangalore branch with 27 students appearing for it. Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test for four modules was scheduled on 22nd March, 2023 and for the first time was carried out in 3 shifts.

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) conducted an engrossing CPD live online seminar on ‘Cross-curricular Integration in Lesson Planning’ on 17th March, 2023, wherein 29 participants took part. The session was facilitated by Ms. Manju Chakrawati, a seasoned educator with a teaching experience of more than 14 years in reputed international schools in Mumbai and Bangalore.

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) has now started placing its graduates in the domain of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). It has succeeded, yet again, to place its ITD graduate, Akanksha Paul, as a facilitator at International STEAM Research (ISR). She completed ACT’s International Teaching Diploma (ITD) program from its Kolkata center, which aided her in learning the latest approaches and methods to teach learners of pre and primary age groups.

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) has successfully placed its TEFL graduate, Sukumaran Varikol, as a Primary Mentor in M. D. International School, Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. He completed ACT’s TEFL program which immensely helped him to gain knowledge regarding contemporary approaches and methodologies of teaching English to learners from various backgrounds.
