TEFL is breaking language barriers across the world

In recent times technology has forced us to look for our cell phone or reach for our laptops in times of need. Even during language translation we tend to use an online translator or simply a mobile app. It must be taken into consideration that no translation or communication can be done without a proper and in-depth knowledge of the language. TEFL is breaking this barrier as EFL teachers are taking non-English speakers beyond the boundaries of ‘hello’ and ‘how are you?’ and acquainting them with the global language of communication so that they are able to read, write, and speak with proper understanding of the language. With our planet quickly shrinking in the sense that international borders are easily crossed, the impact of Teaching English as a Foreign Language is unprecedented.
