ACT Kolkata Ushers in Bijoya Celebrations

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) brought the festive season to a joyful close with a Durga Puja celebration at its Kolkata office on 22 October 2026. Blending cultural traditions with fun-filled activities, the gathering offered employees an opportunity to come together, share festive cheer, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness that makes Bengal’s most cherished festival so special.

As Bengalis bid an emotional farewell to Maa Durga and begin counting the days until her return next year, the ACT Kolkata office reflected the warmth and vibrancy of the festive season. The venue was adorned with dazzling lights and festive decorations, while a specially designed selfie corner became a popular spot for employees to capture memorable moments with their colleagues.

The celebration featured a lively mix of activities, including karaoke and an engaging quiz session. Enthusiastic participation, friendly competition, and cheerful interactions kept the atmosphere vibrant, with winners receiving warm applause and appreciation from their colleagues.

Adding to the festive spirit, the gathering concluded with a sumptuous lunch that brought everyone together for good food and conversation. The celebration provided a welcome opportunity for employees to unwind, strengthen workplace relationships, and create lasting memories beyond their everyday professional responsibilities. It also reflected the institution’s enduring spirit of unity, camaraderie, and shared happiness, bringing the festive season to a memorable close.
