ACT Undergoes ASIC Institutional Audit to Reinforce Commitment to Quality Enhancement

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) successfully underwent a comprehensive quality assurance process conducted by the esteemed Accreditation Service for Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC), UK on 14th and 15th May 2026 at its Kolkata office. The institutional audit, led by senior inspectors Dr Hardik Vachharajani and Mr Craig Wilkinson, evaluated ACT’s internal quality assurance systems and its ongoing commitment to continuous institutional improvement.

The two-day external quality assurance review involved a detailed assessment of ACT’s operational, academic, and administrative frameworks. Key areas reviewed during the inspection included Governance, Management and Staff Resources, Quality Assurance and Enhancement, Systems Management, Learning, Teaching and Research Activity, Awards and Qualifications, Student Welfare, Premises and Health and Safety, as well as Marketing and Recruitment of Students. The audit examined the effectiveness of ACT’s internal systems in maintaining high educational and operational standards.
