Asian College of Teachers Rang in the Festive Spirit with Durga Puja Celebrations at its Kolkata Office
7th October 2025

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) ushered in the festive spirit with a vibrant Durga Puja celebration on 26th September 2025 at its Kolkata office. The event was a delightful blend of tradition, camaraderie, and cultural fervour, capturing the essence of Bengal’s most cherished festival.
While India rejoiced in the spirit of Navratri, ACT Kolkata celebrated the auspicious occasion with “matri aradhona,” honouring the mother goddess. The office came alive with dazzling lights, festive decor, and a specially designed selfie corner that became a popular attraction among employees.
The celebration embraced the tradition of Ethnic Day, as employees arrived in colourful sarees and kurtas, adding charm and elegance to the festive ambience. The second half of the day was brimming with fun-filled activities, including karaoke and a live jam session, where enthusiastic participation and friendly competition made the atmosphere electric. Many emerged as winners of the evening, taking home cheers and applause.
No festivity is complete without culinary indulgence, and ACT’s Durga Puja celebration was no exception. The day concluded with a sumptuous spread, leaving everyone with fond memories of togetherness and festive joy.
ACT’s Durga Puja celebration not only reinforced the festive cheer but also reflected the institution’s spirit of unity, cultural appreciation, and shared happiness among its members.
