ACT Champions Employee Wellness with Holistic Health and Finance Initiative at Its Kolkata Center
7th August 2025

In a thoughtful move towards fostering a healthier and more financially informed workforce, Asian College of Teachers (ACT) organized a comprehensive wellness initiative on August 5, 2025, at its Kolkata center. The day-long program focused on both financial literacy and physical well-being, underscoring ACT’s unwavering commitment to the holistic development of its employees.
The financial well-being session, conducted in collaboration with Bajaj Capital, a leader in financial services, offered ACT employees with valuable insights to make smart financial decisions. The session covered essential topics such as Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs), effective saving strategies, and long-term financial security. Experts from Bajaj Capital equipped attendees with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed financial decisions, empowering them to build a more secure financial future.
For the physical wellbeing and checkup, ACT joined hands with Iris Hospital, a reputed multispecialty hospital in Kolkata, to conduct a physical wellness checkup drive. The health screening included vital assessments such as weight monitoring, blood pressure checks, blood glucose tests, pulmonary function evaluations, and individual consultations with doctors. The initiative aimed to help employees gain a clear understanding of their current health status and encourage a more proactive approach to personal wellness.
The dual-focused initiative was well received by ACT staff, who appreciated the organization’s proactive approach in supporting their overall well-being. By addressing both physical health and financial stability, ACT continues to set a strong example in employee-centric workplace practices. This event stands as a testament to ACT’s dedication to creating a supportive, balanced, and empowering work environment, where the growth and welfare of its employees remain a top priority.
