ACT Celebrated Excellence in Education at the Grand Convocation Ceremony in Mumbai

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) hosted its much-anticipated Grand Convocation Ceremony 2025 at the luxurious Meluha The Fern Hotel in Mumbai on 31st May, 2025. This gathering celebrated the accomplishments of ACT graduates and brought together leading educators and accomplished educational leaders for a day filled with inspiration, learning, and celebration.
The event began with a warm welcome speech, followed by an insightful keynote address delivered by Prof. Dr. Sanjib Neil Chakraborty, Founder and Chairman of ACT. Alongside Chief Guest Dr. Maurice Kenneth Dimmock—an esteemed educational leader, former Chairman of one of the UK’s leading accrediting bodies and Consultant with QS — the Guests of Honour, Dr. Natasha Mehta, Dr. Ranjini Krishnaswamy, Ms. Damayanti Bhattacharya, Ms. Simi (Kamlesh) Sharma, and Dr. Shivani Bhai, shared insightful and inspiring perspectives that resonated deeply with the audience. This was followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the enlightening journey of education.
The ACT Convocation Ceremony proudly celebrated the graduates, acknowledging their achievements and unwavering commitment to educational excellence. The event featured dynamic EduTalks centred around current global education themes: ‘Education in a Globalized World: The Role of Technology in Bridging Educational Gaps’, and ‘Establishing Educational Credibility: Navigating Quality, Reputation, and Global Expectations’.
Attendees also enjoyed a gala networking lunch, which was an excellent platform for building connections and exchanging ideas. Multiple photo sessions throughout the day captured the celebratory moments, creating lasting memories for all participants.
