ACT Forms Medical Emergency Response Team Equipped with Life-Saving Skills

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) has taken a proactive step in ensuring the safety of its workforce by establishing a dedicated Medical Emergency Response Team. The team was trained to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies and was equipped with life-saving skills.

The training was conducted on August 19, 2023 at the NIFS National Institute of Fitness Studies. Rupam Sinha, an entrepreneur and the founder-director of NIFS Kolkata and Physiomax Gym, facilitated the session. Mr. Sinha, a notable fitness speaker, brought his expertise to the training, emphasizing the significance of swift action during emergencies.

The training aimed to impart essential knowledge and skills, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), and basic first aid techniques. Five employees from Asian College of Teachers (ACT) were trained and equipped with the techniques to provide critical assistance in a variety of emergency situations. The participants received certificates after the successful completion of the training session, further acknowledging their commitment to safety and emergency preparedness.

The participants gained comprehensive insights into emergency response strategies and learned the vital steps needed to save lives. The training underscored the importance of quick and effective action during emergencies, making a significant contribution to the community's well-being.
