Workplace Health and Safety Training at ACT Kolkata Centre was hands-on and effective

Workplace Health and Safety Training was held at Asian College of Teachers (ACT), Kolkata Centre on 3rd September, 2021. The session was conducted by a certified safety officer Mr Shaileswar. Workplace Health and Safety Training is an integral part of every organization’s training agenda as it safeguards the safety of its most important asset – its employees. Asian College of Teachers ensures that its employees receive appropriate health and safety training. The training conducted by Mr Shaileswar was very informative and an interactive session. The focus of the training was fire safety as it is one of the key strategies to maintaining a safe workplace and preventing fires tops the list of safety training. The ACT employees were given fundamental training on how to eliminate fire hazards and respond quickly if a fire breaks out. The training provided a safety plan that included instructions and guidelines to identify hazards, combatting a dangerous situation and future prevention of such incidents. All employees present at the training had a clear understanding of health and safety policy and how health and safety can be managed at the workplace and risks to be controlled.
