ACT Annual General Meeting 2019 was all about celebrating the accomplishments and future planning

The Annual General Meeting 2019 of Asian College of Teachers (ACT) was a 3-day gala event held on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of December which was hosted at the luxurious Radisson Ballygunge in Kolkata. All ACT members from all regional and international centres came together to join the 12th year celebration of excellence which was replete with discussions, presentations, songs, dance and drama in all its glitz and glamour. Like every year, this year was no exception and brought the entire ACT family under one roof to celebrate the success of the year gone by and to set roadmaps for 2020.

The celebration flagged off with 2019 'Curtain Raiser’ presentation followed by encouraging and inspiring words from Dr Sanjib Chakraborty, Dean, Asian College of Teachers. The 3-day celebration was filled with informative and engaging sessions by all the departments alongwith regional presentations on various topics. These included a focus on the varied modes of learning, discussion forums on relevant and vital subjects, creative materials for teaching, introduction to the regional and international teams, a focus on the SEN, Counselling, Train the Trainer and Education Management courses etc.

Product launch for 2019 had the limelight on TESOL Canada, which is still in its formative days and is expected to provide trainees with a world-class learning experience. Apart from these, the 3 days were filled with lighter moments as it saw some active participation from employees and was packed with fun-filled activities throughout along with a spread of scrumptious platter. The year-end celebration concluded with the much-awaited award ceremony for outstanding performances throughout the year and of course, the mandatory photo session.
