ACT comes under one umbrella at Novotel for its Annual General Meeting 2018

28th December 2018

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) hosted its Annual General Meeting, 2018 on the 20th and 21st of December at the magnificent Novotel Hotel and Residencies in Kolkata. The two days’ grand celebration, or as Dr Sanjib Chakraborty (CEO, Asian College of Teachers) rightly points it out as a grand carnival, brought the whole ACT family under one roof to celebrate the success of the year gone by and to set goals for the coming year. The 11th year celebration was all the more inspiring and fascinating with the perfect blend of all the regional flavours that made the celebration truly magnificent. It saw the coming together of ACT family from Thailand and the Indian branch offices - Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi. The Annual General Meeting 2018 started with the ‘2018-Curtain Raiser’ presentation followed by ‘2019 - Goals’ by Dr Sanjib Chakraborty which stated the initiatives for 2019.

The 2 days’ celebration was filled with knowledge presentations on various topics by the different groups and teams, ranging from ‘2019 – New Initiatives’, ‘International Journey’ to ‘Existing Students and Alumni’. 2018 saw the regional expansion and focused on the goals for 2019. It also focused on the launch of new courses as ASE and SEN programs which were designed in a way to enhance the learning experiences of the students with better employment opportunities. The 2 days were replete with presentations and yet, it didn’t fail to keep everyone engaged as each day was packed with fun-filled activities along with a spread of delectable food. The celebration came to an end with a photo session and award ceremony for outstanding performances throughout the year.
