The 4 days’ workshop for the trainers was focussed on training these navy personnel to develop the skills and polishing their prowess as trainers who can in turn upgrade the skills of new entrants. The emphasis has been on the development of the core characteristics of training and development so that they as trainers appeal to the new entrants as they often have to walk a fine line between showing that they are concerned for their trainees while enforcing training standards and discipline.
