ACT conducted a Successful Webinar on Design Thinking for Teaching Professionals
Asian College of Teachers (ACT) conducted a successful webinar on ‘How to Incorporate Design Thinking into Your Units and Lessons’ which was facilitated by an international educator, Ms. Jennifer Schmidt (MA TESOL, New York; MBA Entrepreneurship, Spain; Teaching Certification in Music and TESOL, New York; BA Music Theory and Composition, New York) on 19th November, 2021.

ACTs Interactive Webinar on Online Inclusive Classroom Challenges kept Participants engaged
Asian College of Teachers successfully conducted an online panel discussion on ‘Challenges faced by Teachers & Parents in Online Inclusive Classrooms’ on 19th November, 2021. The panel comprised distinguished speakers - Dr Rita James (Founder & Director of Asha Kiran Special Needs School, Bangalore), Ms. Anju Chirimar (School Counsellor, South Point School, Kolkata) and Mr David Bourke (ESL Trainer and Special Needs Teacher). The panel discussion was moderated by Ms. Kuhurina Basu (Head of Academics, Asian College of Teachers). The panel discussion was attended by teachers of inclusive classrooms as well as parents of special kids.

ACTs Live Session on Assessment was a Great Learning Experience for the Participants
Asian College of Teachers successfully conducted a live online seminar on ‘Assessment for/as learning: But . . .are they learning?’ which was facilitated by an international educator, Dr Thomas James Miller (Doctorate of Philosophy in Education, Educational Administration, Theory and Policy Studies from the University of Toronto) on 7th November, 2021. Dr Miller is a passionate educator who has achieved exemplary success demonstrated in multicultural contexts gained from having worked on 5 continents.
