About The Symposium

Dr Sanjib Chakraborty, Dean and Lead Trainer, Asian College of Teachers is a PhD in Management Science from University of Hertfordshire, UK with two Masters - in Education (M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction Design) and in Business Administration. He is a Diploma holder in Learning & Development, CIPD, UK, a Certified L&D Practitioner from TAP Academy & British Institute of Learning & Development, UK and a Certified Trainer from Singapore Institute of Management, Singapore. Dr Chakraborty has been a lecturer at a University in Bangkok, Thailand and has been to more than 35 countries lecturing at several international universities.

Dr Margaret Davitt Maughan is a Senior Educator with M.A.T. (Masters of Art in Teaching) from the University of Santa Clara and Ed.D. (Doctor of Education) Leadership, from the University of San Francisco and 35 years of experience in classrooms, curriculum development and interdisciplinary studies. She has the expertise in instructional organization and the ability to make the subject useful.

Mr. Medin Lamichhane is the current principal of Ullens School, life member of NELTA(Nepal English Language Teacher’s Association), Executive member: SAIBSA (South Asian International Baccalaureate Schools’ Association) and a Workshop Leader: International baccalaureate Organization (IBO), Switzerland. He had has countless paper presentation in international conferences like Sixth NELTA International Conference, Pokhara, UCEA (University Council for Educational Administration) Convention in Virginia, USA and many more. Mr. Lamichhane has been part of many publication such as UCEA (2007) – Schooling for social justice: A partnership between Nepali school and a U. S. school of Education.
