Modern English School was founded in 1988. It is in Ejipura and has no branched. The School has received many awards in the District and Regional level, both in Academics and Sports. It starts from Nursery and goes up to the Pre University level. There are 42 teachers and 14 non-teaching staff. The student number is 900 and increasing. The PU level has branches for Arts, Commerce and Computer Science. The various sections or levels are - Nursery, Primary, Higher Primary, High School and PU.

ACT conducted a seminar on "Innovative teaching strategies & Classroom Management" at Modern English School, Bangalore on 10th Dec, 2016. It started with a warm welcome and introductory session. It then went ahead with various activities on teaching strategies to motivate students and thus engaging them in classrooms. It helped the teachers to learn a lot many things which were new to them and regenerated their minds. It engrossing and entertaining while delivering various modern techniques and methodologies to participants. Soon this collaborative effort will turn into effective partnership with the school, and walk towards holistic learning environment.

HASEENA TAJ : The training was appropriate and useful and properly executed by the trainer. The warmers taught to the teachers to begin the class everyday will really benefit to us in classroom management and also enable to certain extent in bringing discipline amongst students. It was a great experience and we hope to get more like this as it enables us to learn new techniques of teaching and management. So we should try to meet often.

GEETHA : I liked the management course session where the teachers can learn the practical steps to handle the student's issues. It was really wonderful experience learning from the trainer who was so good and friendly. I had a great time with all the teachers and the teaching aids. I would like to suggest updating us on few more points or information about handling high school students.

STELLA : The training was fruitful as it cleared all our doubts. She gave more examples to motivate the students. This is very helpful for me. I am very happy with the experience during the training. Nothing requires improvement, really apt and useful. Everything provided was best.

SHRAVANI SHRAVS : The topics given to the teachers I really liked it and enjoyed it thoroughly. Activities including dance, illusion, role play etc were engrossing. It's really marvellous, good, fantastic, reliable, very understandable, very interesting, which I enjoyed a lot. It was really useful, I learned some tips to handle diverse classroom of young students.
