ACT Live Online Session enlightened the Participants about Post-COVID Teaching

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) conducted a live online session on “Teaching in a Post-COVID World” which was facilitated by ACT Sales and Placement Heads on 16th February, 2022. The stimulating session witnessed a lively discussion regarding teaching in a post-COVID world and the current trends in the education industry. Various aspects that were discussed include the probability of any change in the job market for teachers and educators during the post-COVID time shedding light on the different types of changes, the mode/s of interview, the location wise flexibility due to the increase in online jobs, eligibility factor (the general eligibility criteria for teaching in ICSE, CBSE schools alongside teaching abroad), courses which prepare teaching aspirants/professionals for teaching abroad etc. The session also covered vital points regarding which most individuals remain clueless and confused like which international countries are hiring teachers with a focus on Canada, Dubai, Singapore, Spain, Russia, Poland etc. and what the options are if one doesn't have a graduation degree etc. The session was quite interactive and acquainted the participants with various teaching and interview techniques which were reviewed and which aided them in clearing their doubts and getting a clear picture of the post-COVID teaching scenario. The live online session made the enthusiastic participants well aware of the trends that are going to be the norm in the coming days, so that they can face the classrooms with confidence.
